You don’t have to be familiar with Episcopal worship to enjoy a worship service at St. Andrew’s. More than anything, we value God’s presence with us as we worship together. There is” no experience necessary” to worship with us at St. Andrew’s, as God’s love and presence is available to each of us, every time we turn to Him.

Our worship is “liturgical”, meaning that we follow a set liturgy from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer.

Our worship is “sacramental”, meaning that we value the sacraments of the church, especially the Lord’s Supper and baptism. We believe that in the sacraments, God uses outward, ordinary things (like bread and wine) to give us inward, spiritual grace.

Our worship is “relevant”, meaning that you’ll hear interesting, practical sermons based on Scripture. Want to listen to a recent sermon from St. Andrew’s? Click here.

Our worship is “accessible”, meaning that you won’t have to balance three books to participate! We have everything you need to follow along printed right in the bulletin.

The first half of the service includes the opening greetings, the reading of Scripture Lessons, the sermon and singing. The second half of the service includes prayers, the liturgy of the Lord's Supper, and Holy Communion.
We celebrate Communion, also called the Eucharist, when we gather to remember the work and sacrifice of Christ. At St. Andrew's, the Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday and on other major feast days in the Christian year. All baptized Christians, from any denomination, are invited to participate.
