Ready to grow in faith, prayer and an understanding of God’s word? 
I have begun a new initiative for St. Andrew's and my own teaching ministry, The Daily Office Daily.  The Daily Office Daily started on November 29th, 2010, I send out a daily devotional guide to the Episcopal Daily Office Lectionary.  These e-mails put the readers on a daily rhythm of reading from the Old and New Testaments, the Psalms and the Gospels.  What's more, I provide a format by which you'll be able to share your prayer requests with the larger "Daily Office Daily" community.

St. Andrew’s came into being through the vision and commitment of the Diocese of Dallas, its Bishop, The Rt. Rev. James Stanton and the Church Planting Commission of the Diocese of Dallas.  In May of 2005, they called the Rev. Mike Michie, who was then Vicar of Christ the King Episcopal Church in Houston, to be the founding Vicar.  Rev. Michie, his wife Laurie, and three daughters, Kellie, Jennifer and Mariana moved from Houston to McKinney in August of 2005.
