The first service in St. Andrew's new building on January 29, had record attendance. Great joy permeated the atmosphere because six years of hard work by the members and clergy finally came to fruition.

St. Andrew’s has adopted Burks Elementary, an east McKinney Title 1 school on the edge of the historic district. Burks has 450 students, almost 70% of whom meet at-risk guidelines. We are committed to walk beside the children and staff of Burks Elementary, helping them live their vision — “I believe I can and I will dream big and achieve more!” This gallery has photos of clean-up day at Burks.
On Dec 22, 2011 several St Andrew’s members went Christmas Caroling in the neighborhoods surrounding the new Church building.
On Dec 24, 2011 St Andrew’s put on our annual Christmas Pageant, “The First Christmas”. We had 76 kids participate. The younger children held various roles in the play, while the older children played in the orchestra and sang in the choir.
On Dec 2, 2011 St Andrew’s families gathered to celebrate the start of our Advent season.
Families made Advent Wreaths, Christmas ornaments as well as Christmas Cards for the Elderly.
On May 21, 2011 members of St Andrew’s gathered for the Ground breaking ceremony. Families wrote down their prayers for St Andrew’s future and put them into the foundation before the cement was poured.
